March 19th – Seder in Norwood
Redeemer will join with the First Baptist Church in hosting a Seder on March 19th at 6:30 p.m. in Norwood.
Seder means ―order and is the name given to the special service held on the first night of Passover. The service is marked by the recitation of the Haggadah, in which the story of the Exodus is recounted and reenacted through prayer and ritual. Two Messianic Jews from Jews for Jesus will be there to conduct the Seder. A dinner will follow the Seder. The cost per person for the evening is expected to be approximately $15.00.
Attending a Seder is a good way to prepare spiritually for the events of Holy Week which took place at Passover. We hope you will want to at-tend and bring a friend. For this event, attendance is limited to 100. The churches will therefore be taking reservations on a first-come, first served basis. If you decide to attend, please call Fr. Alan or Vivien at 781-769-7940 to make a reservation
