Our Clergy John Holt Potter During Father Potter’s ten years of leadership as the Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, the parish was committed to programs of Christian education and spiritual growth for all ages. The Alpha course, The Truth Project, other adult education offerings and a biblically-based Sunday School curriculum for children were important elements by which the parish pursued its mission to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit and to share the Gospel with others. These offerings and Sunday morning worship were designed to help parishioners developed a richer and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Father Jack grew up in New Hampshire, graduated from Dartmouth College and received a Master of Business Administration from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration. He practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for 20 years, was a partner in a large international CPA firm and also was involved in other business activities. He received a Master of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania and was ordained a priest in 1994. Father Jack and his wife, Gail, have been married for 43 years and are delighted to be settled in Franklin after moving many times during their married life. They have two adult children and four grandchildren, all of whom live in New England. Vestry/Board of Directors Christine Gruner, Junior Warden Edward Ronan, Treasurer/Clerk
